My journey as a Songwriter |

When I was a little kid, I always loved listening to my dad playing his radio in the garage while working on the cars, or some other house hold project. I loved hearing the music, and thinking about how much work each songwriter had put into making that song a reality. Way back then, I decided that when I grew up, I wanted to become a professional songwriter. It took a lot of hard work to start making my dream a reality. I had to go from small gig, to small gig in order to get recognized. Eventually, I got a big break when doing a commercial for a mattress company. They loved my ideas as a songwriter, and the manager said that I had a lot of raw talent. His brother was an agent for a then popular musical star, and he got me an interview with him. I was so nervous! The day of the interview finally came, and I met with his brother. He was actually a really positive and happy person. I was not stressed at all after a few minutes with him. He had me present a few songs of mine, and then he said that I was amazing and that he wanted to get me into the studio right away. All my hard work as a songwriter was finally paying off big time!
