The other day I got together with my buddies to play some music. I used to be pretty active in a band with them but over the years we've grown apart because of life and the things that come in the way. Well regardless, when we got together to jam and see if we could start working on anything else - I remembered how many musical instruments I had in my keyboard synthesizer.
It's truly amazing. I bought this thing probably about 7 years ago and it's still a relevant piece of technology that can make incredible music. It has hundreds of different musical instruments recorded at their best quality for me to access. I can access a Steinway grand or a Stradivarius violin. It's just up to whatever I feel like playing. Of course the draw back is the actual human element of playing the instrument is different - the intonation, feel, and so on - but the sound quality is amazing and with a little patch work on the recording/editing side of things these musical instruments can go from sound bytes to professional tracks in no time.
