When you really think about it, most everyone has a hidden or open desire to develop and share a musical talent!  When I was young, I considered myself a songwriter, and I ventured as far as to actually sing some of those songs to friends.  Well, either my friends were extremely kind, or someone truly liked the songs...
Anyway, it appeared to work better if someone else sang, and I just basked in the glory of seeing my work performed.

I longed to play any musical instrument; but, alas, it was not meant to be.  Usually, the call of outside games got in the way!  However, as an adult, I still dream of one day playing the Blues Guitar Extension...and I found a CD Rom with understandable instructions!  I even plan on learning sheet music!  Wow, there is hope yet!!!

Life consists of hopes and dreams, and I decided to pursue at least one of those dreams.  My grandchildren love the new EA Rock Band CD with appropriate musical instruments.  Actually, they are pretty good, and they have so much fun!!  It is inspiring to hear the old music being semi-played by the kids, and it certainly reminded me of my own dreams!
