     I used to fancy myself as a songwriter. I remember when I was in 7th grade and there was this angel in my math class. I wrote her a song that I thought would melt her heart, it did, however it also melted her boyfriends patience. That was my first songwriting experience. Since that fateful day in math class I have made music and the study of music my passion. I have studied a wide variety of musical instruments, and even learned how to read sheet music. I love to listen to all types of music songs, and consider myself somewhat of an expert on ballads.

     I teach music theory at the local high school now, and I really cannot think of anything else that I would rather be doing. Teaching these students, and seeing the passion that they have for music, is for me, priceless. I can not wait to see the next group of students and their love for music. I just purchased an mp3 jukebox to store all of my students favorite songs. I love technology! That song I wrote in 7th grade, is still my wifes favorite. Thank you.
