His underground sound will have you hooked after listening to the many musical instruments included in the single Lonely Boy attached below. I don’t really know how to categorize his music. Maybe eclectic electronic beats works. You won’t find a songwriter behind any of Metaform’s songs because all of it is instrumental with vocal snippets from random records throughout time. He is a true album archeologist pulling many times mellow snippets into short memorable mixes. If you like the song below, I recommend checking out some of his other work.

 

What I love about his beats is the diversity of musical instruments included. It’s not just an electronic drum and computerized representation of a guitar or something. This music is best for late nights or as quiet background music when trying to inspire creativity.  What I love about this song is the old school feel mixed in perfectly with those quiet recording scratches. It’s a new school take on a very old sound. Hope you enjoy and I will post more songs heavy in musical instruments in the future.
