Tonight, I am looking forward to hear an old friend play in his band. He has had a band going since I can remember. He is talented at songwriting, playing various musical instruments and singing music songs. He married a very good friend of mine and I’ll be joining the family in front row seats. There is nothing better than listening and getting up to move to various music songs. His genre of music is R&B and soul. The music songs will be flashbacks to the 70’s and 80’s. So many of those songs are burned in our memories and the words will come back to us. I am sure all of us will be silently singing along with the band. There will be other bands also to share the stage. It must be such a rush to stand up there and perform, knowing that the audience is there for your music. No wonder the American Idol “performers” want it so bad. I can’t wait to listen to timeless music songs that stay with you through-out the years.
